Working as a warehouse for a rebar production facility

I am currently working on a warehouse for a rebar production facility. The management team has told me that the facility produces a fine steel powder that gets everywhere when they cut the rebar. Would this fall under a certain Class/ Division from section 500 of the NEC? Thanks in advance for any information!

Possibly. It mostly depends on the particle size and how it settles. See NFPA 499.

If it turns out to be a classified location, it is automatically Class II, Division 1, Group E. There is no Division 2 for Group E. See NEC Section 500.5(C)(1)(3).
