I hate to rehash old subjects, but I didn't see a previous post that match our situation.
I'm at a warehouse where objects like pallets are often left blocking panel access. Our safety department has decided to put either cement or steel posts in front of our 480v lighting panels to rectify the situation.
Would these posts be considered grounded and therefore need to increase the 3ft working space to 3,6"?
Would railing or posts in the center of the 30" width present an egress problem?
I don't mind two posts on the outer footprint of the panel but I hate to work on panels while having a railing directly behind me.
