Code Violation?? A switchboard is installed on a 4" housekeeping pad making the top of the gear 7'-10" AFF [90" gear + pad], the equipment installed is tight to the structure above [1-2"clearance] The contractor installed conduits that terminate to the front of the switchboard above the breaker section since the top of the gear was not accessible. The code requires 6-1/2' or the height of the gear working clearance the bottom of the conduits are greater than 6-1/2' above the floor but less than the height of the gear is this a code violation if the conduits are part of the switchboard installation??
