working clearance

i have a quick question? space about electrical equipment.
likely to require examination, adjustment, servicing, ot maintenance,
is this panelboard, switchgear, motor control centers,
my question is disconnects, am i following 110.26, working space
any help,

Yes, I was thinking with some equipment. You can stand on a ladder to disconnect power to it. :wink:

One very good example of a disconnect requiring examination while energized is check for voltage.

A disconnect could be a very logical palce for a service tech to check for voltage before opening a piece of equipment.

A great example of a very popular violation is the disconnect for a garbage disposal located in the wall above the counter top and below the upper cabinet ,.. but who cares about that piece of equipment
