Hope everyone enjoyed tgiving. Have a lobby job where GC is providing "dance floor"/ working platform. Anyine ever heard the teminology "dance floor" for one of these? Assuming this is like a scaffold? Multiple trades will be using it. Anyone Familiar with working off one of these? Thinking tasks take longer. Thanks

Very common in places with very ceilings like building lobbies, theaters, auditoriums, etc. I have worked on many, doesn't really add any more labor to the installation and may actually make it easier because you typically can work off of small ladders instead of boom lifts. If it's over a certain height your employees will need to be scaffold certified. On job we did with a very high lobby ceiling (Heart Tower) had a moveable hanging platform that you used a rope and puller to "drive" it out from the edge to the work areas along the lobby.

Thanks, think you have to provide temp light on them as well.

Write an exclusion to avoid sharing the cost for this others furnished and installed dance floor. The GC might get the subs to pay for portions of the cost.
As others said, in an amphitheater with stadium seating or similar this application is very beneficial
