I have reviewed 110-26, but I can't find any reference to the maximum and minimum heights of panelboards to allow easy access to breakers. I think I've seen this somewhere before... I am asking because I'd like to put two branch-circuit panelboards vertically one above the other (they separate standard and emergency power (generator back-up) circuits, 30 and 24 space panels, respectively). Is there a "good practice" standard min. and max. height for panelboards/breakers?

iwire,

on a trailer panel located outside their is a 2' minimal height which in effect and indirectly gives a limit to the OCPD switch height and panel height in that type of application........would you agree..

Yeah I know....has nothing to do with this question...;)

Oh WAIT...you said UNLESS it is a mobile home.......gotcha......You covered it...:)..I really should READ before I post...

Wouldn't that depend on how many discarded appliances are gathered around the trailer? :D
