Hey all, I'm looking into moving some panels around in a future electric room to make space for some overhead ductwork.
My question is, would the placement of this ATS violate the working space in front of T-1? T-1 is 480:208/120V

Is the distance shown to the side of T-1 (non removable) ??

IMO, it would be Code compliant. The side compartment of T-1 would simply be a grounded surface.

Opps.. I missed that measurement.. it might well be an AHJ call but more inspectors that I've worked with don't consider a transformer to fall under the "subject to be orked on while energized" clause.

It would appear the transformer doesn't maintain the required working space, as you suspected.

Is the ceiling high enough that you could suspend the transformer above the height of the ATS?
