Would an evaporator fed from a condensing unit need separate OC protection?

This refrigeration job has a condensing unit (outdoors) that feeds evaporators and fan motors inside. I am showing disconnects inside for the evaporator and then for the fan motor. The CU has 110A fuses, the fan motor disconnects have 15A, and the evaporator heater disconnects have 30A. But then I got to thinking about the wire between the CU and the inside units. Doesn't there need to be over current protection at the CU to protect the wire between it and the inside units?

The manufacturer has a diagram that just shows the evaporator hooked up to the CU. It looks like it's hooked up directly to a contactor inside the CU. No fuses or anything.
