WP Splices

Have a bunch of handholes with #10’s and #6’s wire which require splices for site lighting. Can anyone suggestion a good waterproof splice/method? Thanks.
Disregard....guess a WP wire nut is suffice.

I use the silicone filled wire nuts for #10 and smaller, Polaris lugs for anything larger. Use plenty of drainage rocks as your base and you shouldn’t have issues with them holding water. I’ve gone behind other guys that just set them in the dirt and they’re always full of water.

Then sure, WP wirenuts and such, but in truth plain old regular connections are the norm inside pole lights IME unless there is some climate related reason to need more protection.
