I have a customer who wants to control outdoor lights that serve a corral area. The lights are run off a subpanel in a barn. He wants to control the lights from the house.
The barn is about 150 ft from the house on a 3-wire 120/240 underground feeder with #2 aluminum. There will be about 250 ft of circuit from house to lights.
Does anyone have any data on range of X10 systems or suggestions for other systems that would work for this application?
The alternative being considered is burying low-voltage control circuits.
