You should ask the engineer or contractor who made the design for their calculations on transformer sizing if you are concerned.

You should focus on the code issues that will effect the estimate. For example, the #8 and #6. Whether it is aluminum wiring or copper wiring. The primary side disconnect and if it is lockable. The labeling requirements of 450.14 if applicable.
 
I can see questioning the 50 amp primary OCP (based on 480v I think a 45 amp (standard size) would be more appropriate) sine the secondary is greater than 125%.
(If you use the actual transformer 460v the 50 is fine)
