Construction mounted 5 Rosemount pressure transmitters off a 6 foot piece of horizontal 2” rigid galvanized steel conduit that is attached to a platform and handrail…The conduit is about 1 foot above the handrail and 8” back - is it ok to mount them directly to a piece of conduit if NO circuitry is routed within the conduit?

Not a problem. Since it is not being used as a raceway there is no prohibition to mounting equipment to it.

I flattened the ends of the conduit, bent to the appropriateangle, drilled a hole, and just ran a bolt through all the conduits at an intersection.

Would have made fishing wires a pain :)
I was trying to picture wye-shaped conduit bodies.

I'd actually thought about something like pentagonal or hexagonal plates with the Arlington 'AnyBody' hubs mounded on the side

But in the end, squishing the tubes made more sense
