has anyone tried the yellowpages.com feature listing? they called me today. simple name & phone listing is free; to be on the front page (in my area) its $46.00/mo, for a website link or 150 character description its $77.00/mo. The sales lady told me they had 1k searches in my area alone last year for electricians, "and studies show 77% of searches end with a phone call" and somewhere around 60% of those people purchase.

here's what's funny, the sales lady called me back about 5 minutes after our initial conversation and asked me to troubleshoot her broken floodlights over the phone! i told her it could be any number of things, and her response was "well i'll just go to home depot". AAAAGHHHHH. how about, 'use your own product to find an electrician maybe???'

I guess that why I don't do service work, cause if a protentical client called me, and I'd of got'n that far in a conversation, Being l'm all crankly & all, I might just said, Honey and your called me for that ? "well i'll just go to home depot".
Wait I'm I bring'n down the Industry ...
