It’s a special meter that injects voltage on the wire. Just bought one. It only works if the circuit is complete, then calculates the value by the amount of current flow. I tried it on my ufer ground at the house, and was surprised it was 50 ohms. My ground rod at an outbuilding was 70.Maybe I am just dense, but how is a clamp ammeter measuring resistance?
