Anyone know of places for hard to find breakers? Im in los angeles need a few zinsco bolt 100 ampers, qcb100 and all aroung here there between 250 and 350 used. running a few sub panels off of these zinsco panels, thanks also posting this in nec forum as I was advised to so please dont chew me out for double posting

I've had to replace a few old zinsco breakers. DP 100's, DP 60's, and SP 20's. A company called Conneticut Electric makes new "zinsco" replacement breakers. I believe they are made in China. I've ordered them through a company called A PLUS SUPPLY CO. Found them on the net. They're not cheap, but atleast they're not used. Another member on here, Zog, in a PM explained to me that it's quite costly to test/remanufacture a breaker so they don't generally do breakers smaller than 400 amps. With that info in mind, I opted for the new breakers even though they were made in China.

Breakers made in China, do they come with any NRTL stamp ? UL ? Does China have any type of certification program ?
 
Are the Zinsco breakers plug-in or bolt-on? To the best of my knowlege the only aftermarket Zinsco/Sylvania breakers are plug-in, the bolt-on are strictly used & high dollar, last one I used was for a 2 pole 20A & was $140, it was older then the 1976 era panel it was installed in.

A product does not have to be made in the US to get a US NRTL listing. There are many listed products made or at least partially made in other countries.

they are the bolt on qcb 100. 2 pole 100 amp yea theyre old an expensive. Id love to just swap out these panels entirely, but $ talks so for now we are going this route
