I do not always get around to book work on __ day of the month. Today I discover I am being billed by ZWW-ISP via my phone carrier (two months worth now) for an internet listing. I do not want one and worse yet when I google for the listing - I don't find one that is beyond the normal expected.

I hate to just slam the phone down when I see odd phone #s on Caller ID because I do have customers using phones via ISP.

Is anyone else getting bit or am I the only one in the country?

I don't have a clue as to what you are talking about.

Gee wiz I was so POd that I thought everyone could read my mind. It was shouting.

I was approached via telemarketer some time ago about having a Web page set up for my business. I thought I made it clear to them I did not want the service and was not going to pay for it even if the first 30 days was free. I must not have been clear because I see that I have been billed for at least two months of an unwanted web site via my phone company.

Before telephone over the internet I would usually be forwarned by Caller ID of unwanted calls. That is not always the case now. These calls have a time delay in them and have very odd phone numbers so you don't know where they come from. I hung up on my SIL several times before I realized he was calling from Taji, Iraq via his internet connection. Not the Army's. Now I have a customers that use this same method for calls.

If I were you, I'd read about this at your providers web site, I would shut-it down after you understand all the rules that they work by.
The delay of speech is do to the multi transations that happen between here and there, I-wire, uplink, downlink, I-link to land wire, etc.
Good Luck with the fight...

I have received phone calls both from the offending company and from my telephone company. ZWW-ISP dropped charges as of Jun 1. Phone company is refunding all charges plus they put a "3rd party charge" block on all three phone lines.

Emails do work. Maybe it was just the wording.
