You can't tap off the SABC for the stove igniter or the hood is that correct? Thank you for your help.

range is fine because almost no load. Hood no because it often turns into a microwave

Is there a code reference? I am building a house right now that has a chimmney hood, and I tacked it on to the SABC. There is a separate circuit for a micro as well in another area of the kitchen.

Here is the problem, today its a hood (still can't be on SA, Year from now its over the range micro. For reasons i don't know a counter top is fine on SA but if over range needs own circuit. It's NEC does not need any logic.
