314.27(C) says your going to have to use a box listed for floor applications.
Can you attached a box to a post. Floor outlet outdoors is not going to meet code, IMOThis is a tiled porch area. It does have a roof but it is on the edge. Definitely a wet location.

While in use, definitely.I agree, it will probably be tough to find a floor box receptacle that is rated for a wet location.

As all have mentioned, this may be a tough situation, especially if the location in the floor is specific for a piece of equipment. If so, then a 'doghouse' type of floor receptacle may work...unless it will be hit by beating rain.
Relocating the receptacle may be the only choice.
