Have a Anodizing area we are relocating a rectifier in it .Nameplate shows FLA as 85 amps . According to ( 669.5 ) would the circuit feeding this have to be rated at least 107 amps ? ( 1.25 x 85 = 106.25 amps ) We are putting this out of site of the panel so I see us as having to have a 110 amp breaker feeding a 200 amp disconnect . Would this be correct way to interpret this section ?

We try to use fusible disconnects before all our equipment so we can have RK1 or J indicator fuses installed for safety .I would assume 200amp would be the next size above 100amp .

( 669.5 ) Even if the nameplate shows 85 amps ,and we install conductors rated for 125% , 106 amps . Do we still have to up the size of the branch circuit overcurrent device too ?

Not always. look at 210.20(a) exception.
