Laundry room GFCI protection

Are 15A and 125V receptacle located within 6 feet of a laundry tub, but behind a washing machine in the laundry room of a Health Care unit, have to be GFCI protected?

Under the 2008 NEC the answer is yes. 210.8(B)(5)

I agree with Roger, Under the 2008 NEC for commercial the answer is yes. There is no exception for a receptacle that is installed behind an appliance.

Not a problem you have to locate the GFCI in the panel or somewhere else accessible.

not sure as far as the national code but chicago code, any receptacle for an appliance that is fixed and not accessible does not get a gfci. The chicago code doesn't vary much from the national

How can you add that last sentence, after stating what you wrote in the first sentence?

I know there are quite a few changes in the Chicago Codes that are very different than the NEC.
How about NM cable or even AC cable in a dwelling?
