does anyone know how many states have adopted the 2011 code ? in pa. it wont be adopted by the state till 2013 amazing isnt it.

nec 2011

nec 2011

Why would we want to this only allows the Code Panels to start thinking of more
useless and costly changes. Here in Chattanooga , Tennessee we adopted the 2008 in July of 2010 . The States need to wakeup and think that we cannot make a change for everything just because it will keep the Code Panels a job and cost rising. I expect the State of Tennessee to follow the sheep over the edge and adopt the 2011 . One Man's thoughts ..... Think before Acting

Nice information though it would be inappropriate on a forum not to critique SOMETHING about it :)

The color scheme is poorly chosen:
Local=GREEN should be YELLOW (warning) since they are most likely behind by a lot but not necessarily.
2005=BLUE should be RED (bad) being two cycles behind.
2008=RED should be BLUE being only one cycle behind.
2011=YELLOW should be GREEN (good).

They got it right. Some jurisdictions still think for themselves instead of letting a handful of "professionals" decide the fate of millions of people.

Green = good :cool:
