Well, if I recall right, the conversion for small businesses and homes is from 33 KV... or do I remember wrong? Just like the transformers mostly used in the USA are not 240 or even 480... but much larger... which is why they are such large cans on the poles...

so so I am keeping the trips to the pub for later..l think the only times you see the 400/230 is in specific businesses such as the magnet factory I worked at...
