Actually 680.42 tells us a little more than compliance with Part I and II, its goes on the state EXCEPT as permitted in (A) & (B),
680.42(A) does give you some wiring methods that are different from those in Part I & II

Well yes that's true, but the statement was "it's not a pool".

*Hot tub installed outdoors.
*50A GFCI breaker in main panel inside the home.
*6/3 NM runs inside the home and terminated inside a properly placed disconnect within site of the hot tub.
*From the disco 6/3 UF is properly protected and runs to the hot tub.

All wiring is correct and the hot tub functions.

Is there a problem with this install?

The answer is within the information given, not what was not given. No bonding issues, not disconnect issues. What say you?

This portion is as per 680.42(C).

This is not permitted, and has to follow the requirement of the other portions of 680.42 - UF is not one of the permitted methods from the disconnect to the Spa.
