MC Cable strapped to concrete ceiling?

Yes, but in this area (TKBs area) it is not a shelf item.

It is just not popular in this area.

A friend of mine got some and did not like it, you could not push it up through trusses as we are used to doing.

Same thing here. If someone is using MC for chain hung fixtures 99.99% of the time it contains the standard solid conductors. IMO it would be easier to use FMC with stranded conductors since stranded MC would be a special order.

We have used stranded MC in the past, but as the others have said, it isn't an over the shelf item, so now this is about the only type of installation where we use 3/8" FMC.
