I concur...they also made it heavier and bulkier than when it was round. But I guess by eliminating the twisting process it washes out the added cost of some of the other changes they made (the pull string and the extra plastic in the jacket)

I actually like the flat wire, much easier to put two wires under 1 staple not like the old round stuff, and the sheath strips off in seconds... but as others have stated, the rip cord needs to go bye bye....

The wire I picked up looks like the jacket does not fit the conductors. To tell you the truth I didn't even look at the price, just looked in my wallet and Boy do they beat you over the head 12/3 27.85 14/3 20.65
