The only other forums I visit have to do with my 'other hobby'.

The TiVo forum and its sister, Tivo Community forum - along with VideoReDo support forum every now and then.

I don't have time to visit any other forums because I watch too much TV.

i think it damaged my monitor. if not the content, then
having to clean it with a brillo pad to get the scum off sure did.

i hardly have a pure and pristine nature, and obscenities
seldom offend me.

stupid however, i find offensive. when someone uses obscenities
in an attempt to conceal an almost incandescent stupidity, i
feel it damages quality profanities.

Apart from here, I also post on a Formula One forum. F1 is the pinnacle of motor sport so no surprise.
Also The British Democracy Forum. Again no surprise. I'm a moderator there.
I also make the occasional post in a few other forums, some electrically related and others on the environment.

Great forum. Mainly when you just want to relax a little.

ET is way to "inside clickish" and way to many decent posts get deleted just because speedy or someone else is in a bad mood. When they are in good moods it can be an OK place.
electriciansjobtalk.com isn't like that. There are some smart guys there but they like to joke around a bit. Not so stuffy.

Its an acquired taste I suppose we usually leave this place alone because we don't usually get this kind of criticism from people here. Seems some there take this sort of thing to heart.

There not all that way. No need to bring it here tho Keep it civil so you don't start mass bannings on another forum. Don't want to start Electrical Forum War 5.

Gold Refining Forum Mostly deal with recovery of precious metals from various scrap.

Landover Baptist I can't really explain this one its kinda like going into a restroom at a dive bar on free chillie night. Funny as hell tho.

A few others that are real specific for seo and programming support.

Thank you Gold and I agree- we don't need a war and we should not be bad mouthing other forums. To each their own- as long as the members are content that is all that matters.

It is really amazing that there are forums for almost anything you can think about. Have a hobby and I am sure there is a forum for it.

I only read there for a few minutes but the site looks solidly anti Christian hate, though it is possible they hate everyone equally. Either that or they are all taking too much of the wrong medication.

If I had to guess I'd say it could be a gov. front to gather the wackos in one place and surveill them. Probably quite a few paid posters who know their Leviticus very well. Site is beyond satire. It is obviousy a scam site dedicated to dishing out the pain to others. Gave me a headache, first one in a long while.

Poster has 67,000 posts since 9/2006. They're working it like a nickel / post penny stock chat room. They either have a ranch in Utah or a basement in Langley.

it is, imho, the ultimate troll site.

some people have said it's a spoof, some think it's a
satire, some think it's someone's version of real....

it's been on half a dozen different places on the net,
everyone has a different spin on it.... i doubt they
really need a diplomatic mission from us.... i shot
my mouth off up there ^^^ about a chat room i don't
belong to, and didn't care for, and what they do is none
of my business.

which in it's own way is a pretty stupid way to behave.
the things i don't much care for in others usually seem
to be the things i don't much care for in myself.

as for landover, it just looks like a huge troll for winding
folks up..... it has to be a troll... NOBODY is that bent.
anyone that whackadoodle isn't at the keyboard, they
are up in the clock tower with a rifle.
