Just want to know the required height of an electrical post distributing primary line with reference to a roof of a bunggalo house. Around how many meters should the primary line from the roof of the bunggalo house?

Thanks...

Re: power distribution

I need more information. Is this a roof or balcony accessable to pedestrians? What is the line voltage? Who owns the wires? What kind of wire is involved (cable, open wire, bare wire)?

If this is wire owned by an electric utility, contact them for the information you seek, since they will be the final authority. I am guessing this is a triplexed cable that is a service drop and you are building a room addition under the service drop. Making lots of assumptions, the required clearance is 1.07 meters or 3.5 feet. :D

This has been moved to Safety. I am not sure where it belongs but it has nothing to do with Power Quality. Charlie
