tighten until bulge develops on left temple,apply 16oz hammer three times,tighten again until bulge develops on right temporal lobe,wrap three times with rubber tape.For some unknown reason wrap with friction tape,then sometimes with color of phase tape re wrap until boss complains of tape wastage.

You forgot to start with a cross-thread! Now cut that tape off, redo it, and don't use so much tape this time!:grin:

Am I the only one who uses cambric tape?

No, varnished cambric tape is great stuff. but
I don't use bugs any more. But I use cambric, rubber than plastic when I tape anything.

One thing to keep in mind is that most split bolts are only listed for use with 2 conductors. I often see a lot more than two conductors under a split bolt.

I have seen it used as a "ground bus bar" before.
