Sometimes yes, they are still only available in 3R cabinets. Now you possibly could find something not 3R in a multimeter assembly, but in general those are 3R also.

There are a few ways to do it. If it must go in before the walls are framed then it would need to be mounted on some type of strut or framework. If the walls are already framed it can be mounted right to the studs. The 16" OC studs are the carpenter's problem we just move them to suit the enclosure.
info.. So if the studs are in place you move them to fit the width of the enclosure? Any pics of a flush panel before the rock went up? Thanks.
