I just received my tax assessment, due to the depressed market they (the county) are raising the tax rate to avoid loss revenue, only problem; my assessment was one of the few in the county that went up, 16th year in a row. oh all the commercial property went up in value, so taxes at work are going up along with permit and licensing fees.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Well thats one thing California has on you. We have "Prop. 13" that fixes property tax based on the sale price of the building. If you don't move neither do your tax's. :grin:
