See, now someone prettier than Bob might hug you. That's downright huggable.

I'll be right back, I need to go chop a tree down or work on my truck or something, it's getting a little weird.

:D :D

Is it ever normal here though?

we drove by this elk and I had to take a pic. I got out and got as close to it as he would let me, my wife snapped the pic and then I saw him let out a deep long huff, as if to say to me, " if you dont get the F out of my space Im gonna step on you" and thats when I slowly got back into the car. It had the potential to become a "when animals attack"

You sure thats not inside Bass Pro?

Well the head in the foreground is looking at the monitor on the left but the image on the right monitor indicates you are looking into it.

It looks like each monitor has its own camera.
Those are two good reasons that this could not have been a ?live view? situation. A single camera sitting between the monitors and pointed at my face could not display those two images at the same time. Honorable mention goes to:

The lighting source is on the same side of the subject in both images.
You are looking at three separate photographs. The first two were taken within seconds of each other, with the camera set upon a box on the conference room table. The blue background is the wall in that room. I used the camera?s self-timer, and took several shots, each time moving my head slightly to give the impression that there was a change of camera angle.

I returned to my desk (particularly cleaned up for the occasion), downloaded the images, and selected two that had only slightly different views of my face. Then I displayed one image on each of the two screens. I set the camera on a set of books at the corner of my desk. It took a little experimentation to get a camera angle that would show both monitors without my back taking up too much of the image. In the end, I had to kneel in front of the desk and lean towards the monitors, in order to get the ?apparent perspective? to look right.

Oh the things we must go through for our art! The two other engineers in my office who are avid photographers were laughing hysterically at the whole thing.

I don't know if I should call you brave or a fool. That guy looks like he could have made hamburger out of you in a very short time. What do you think he weighs ?

This is what happens when a city guy is in the mountains. the car was only a few feet away from me. And you dont get the full effect cause you cant hear my wife yelling at me in the background.

Smarty pants. Lets see your latest catch. That picture was taken about 15 minutes from my house, a good friend has a 43' Grand Banks it is like fishing from your house because it is such a comfortable boat. The halibut come into the SF bay to spawn in May through Sept. This year the fishing was AWESOME, lots of large fish caught in Sept.

how do you post pics? its saying all mine are too big
You have to resize them so they fit the parameters that this forum will allow. You have bring your pictures into a photoshop of some type like paint, or microsoft picture viewer, or something like that and go to edit photo and resize. After you resize and save then try it again from the code forum.

Nope, just vacationing - escaping the frigid New England winter and visiting Joshua Tree National Park. :)

29 Palms is one of the few places in the US where you can hear and feel the ground rumble from live artillery fire coming from the Marine Corps base.
