When you have your head above water :D:D:D

I hope it works for other things as well? because I'm always into something deep, but it smells worse than water and a little thicker :) seems like lately I'm carrying a heavier load, which makes it hard to stay afloat. Dang those mwbc.

What is a floating neutral?
Seriously? It's so hard to tell sometimes. ;)

It's when the load neutral point is not connected to the source neutral point.

Examples:

Disconnected neutral in a MWBC.

Broken neutral in a service feeder.

(The above are really the same thing.)

Looks like a floating neutral to me. I say 0.0a.

Initial impression, Ix = 0 (subject to the tolerance of the resistor and their actual values :D).

Yes. Ix = 0. Everyone has their own reasons (of why Ix = 0), I got mine (V+=V- on the branch of Ix), they are not same, but either one is fine. Thats the conclussion I got from this thread.

You got the answer, was there another part?

It was not. I believe Im missing something. It was more difficult the last time I did it.

I have to check. I dont want to start a new discussion on this mivey. I give up. And Im not a woman!! :D

I guess if you found the equivalent delta last time you would have put in a little more work.

I think someone had a projection problem.

:Dhahaha. No, I didnt. Thats silly, if I happen to do that I will lost the reference of where Ix is. So it would not be any help.

I believe the circuit was some kind different. I will check on my notes.

...even though some of the math went beyond me.
It is really not that bad. It is just a matter of keeping up with your signs and/or directions. Life is much easier if you have a calculator that handles complex math. Without that, you just have to take a few extra steps.

I posted this summary of the math. Read at your leisure.
