Ive heard guys say that referring to NM cable. 14/2, 12/2, 10/2, are all 2 wire.
14/3, 12/3, 10/3 are all expamples of 3 wire

More on my post.... it seems the two wires are NOT on line to the power itself but are effected by it. Does this make sense?
