Two wire

Not a game folks. An open ended question to see response based on the definition of "2 wired".

What I have found is an extremely high electrical field in a wall, in a specific area above an outlet. Further examination has found the presence of two wires, wrapped around each other passing up the wall from the area of the outlet. The two wires are NOT connected to the power lines. Yet a very high electrical field is being radiated from the wall. The outlet itself is correctly wired and grounded.
I suspect a Electromagnetic field is being transmitted to the "off line" wires from the power line current causing the high electrical field.
I have heard the expression 'two wired'. Has no one else?

What bearing does a random expression have on the problem at hand? :-?

What are the two wires connected to on either end? What purpose do they serve? What size are they? What generated the call in the first place?

Start getting specific or prepare to have your thread closed.
