You should be able to find many dependable (at least as dependable as a rec rom stop light demands) PLC's out there for way less than $100.

I have worked on stop lights which run red, yellow, green repeatedly, in all Cracker Barrel Restaurants.

Hermitage Electric, I think it is in Lebanon, TN has a timer, simple disc with three switches, just sits there and runs forever.

To be realistic, it needs to have a short stay on amber and longer on red and green. I've seen three individual flashers used, and it looks terrible.

And a seperate camera with a flash to take your picture and send you a $500 ticket in the mail.

I installed the T 6 control it works very good goes thru green yellow red then goes to the other set of lights green short yellow,red then back to the first set just as it would on the street thanks
