240.24(D) does not allow overcurrent devices to be located near easily ignitible materials, and it specifically mentions clothes closets as an example. I think the difference is that the act of opening a breaker or blowing a fuse, due to an overcurrent condition, involves the release of energy, whereas turning off a switch, under (at most) normal operating current, does not.so non-fuseable is ok? what would be the difference?
