is carflex allowed in walls, changing over from pvc. i know the wirepull could be hard but is it legal.
There is nothing that states you cannot use it in walls. However, according to 356.12 LFNC is not allowed in length of over 6' unless flexibility is required.358.10(1). One could argue that you need flexibility down a wall .
I am assuming pvc , carflex etc is allowed in the building.
its an outside bathroom right next to the intercoastal... salt corrosion. pvc in the slab but didnt come up in right location.
Is this a 2011 thing?
I see it as being allowed. as long as it is secured properly
I was assuming it being fished down the wall. But I agree if it is fastened then you are good to go.

look at 356.30(2)

I still don't see this allowing you to fish it if it is over 6'.
(2) Securing or supporting of the conduit shall not be required
where it is fished, installed in lengths not exceeding
900 mm (3 ft) at terminals where flexibility is
required, or installed in lengths not exceeding 1.8 m
(6 ft) from a luminaire terminal connection for tap conductors
to luminaires permitted in 410.117(C).
(5) Type LFNC-B shall be permitted to be installed in lengths longer than 1.8 m (6 ft) where secured in accordance with 356.30.
This seems to circle right back and support 6' lengths or longer are permitted if fished.(3) In lengths longer than 1.8 m (6 ft), except as permitted by 356.10(5) or where a longer length is approved as essential for a required degree of flexibility
I read that as you are allowed to fish without securing. Note the comma and "or".
