I'm looking at adding a pool heater, pool pump, and outdoor jacuzzi type tub to an existing single family residence. Can these items be figured as fastened in place appliances? One load calc form I used had these going in as such, the other listed them seperatetly, and did not afford the benefit of deration. There was a big difference between the total load on the two calcs. Thanks.

One load calc had them being put in the fastened in place appliances section, that gave you a derated number to use in your total calculation. The other one I used just had them listed individually and their values were 100%. If in fact they are to be figured as F.I. P. appliances then I can figure it per NEC.

I did some looking and thinking. I think the pool heater should be a FIPA, the pump is a motor 125% largest, 100% others), and the jacuzzi tub is a FIPA, IMO.

Since your stating in a house in three places in 220.82(B), 220.83(A) & (B) - (all happen to be) 3a, they all say a specific circuit...
