Everyone, I have had a couple friends houses who have recently been hit by lightning and I have gone over and Inspected their houses for damage. I checked all the ground terminals in the meterbase, pannel, etc. I also used an insulation tester on the wires of a suspect circuit ( friend called the fire department and they replaced a fuse for him. The fuse blew immedatly according to the fireman) but when I checked it all seemed fine and I had about
750 megohm's resistance to ground. I have put the fuse back in and it worked fine. Is their anything else I need to check. Do you all reccomend that I insulation test all circuits?
