My AC quick disconnect box is wired from main with 10/3. The neutral wire is connected to the ground lug. I am installing a new AC whip. Do I need to disconnect the neutral and cap off since 10/2 is essentially what was needed? I am assuming I also need to remove the other end from the neutral bar at the main and cap off...or is it ok as is and connect the whip's ground wire to the same side of ground lug as source's ground wire?
