Greetings all,

Newbie here. I was pointed here via another internet search I was doing.

My daughter has a home built in 1952. It is located in Santa Barbara County, CA. It has a 6 breaker panel. Previous owners have been in the walls as I can see romex and 3-prong plugs in them. But there is no ground at any of the outlets. I've heard I can add GFCI outlets as an acceptable solution. Would I be better off since there is only 6 breakers to just upgrade the breakers to GFCI and cover everything?

Thanks for the help!
Taz
