Would someone please explain as to what happened to the Article 440.9 proposal, I believe it was for wire type equipment grounding conductors from outdoor disconnect to HVAC units...?? Seems as though as there is a lot of publication about the change, but is was not printed??
 
I don't have a copy of the 2014, just the Draft.
A proposed change referencing Art 350 and 358 was in the Draft. I'm unclear if it made to the Final publication.
 
This rule was defeated by a floor motion. The floor motion was made to accept comment 11-28 in the ROC. This comment was to delete the new section 440.9 from the code and the motion passed. The new rule had been accepted at both the proposal and comment stage.
