Grounded conductor at disconnect

We supplying a 120 volt single pole 30 amp circuit for a customers cell equipment. This is an outdoor branch circuit fed from a panel inside an equipment shelter. A non fused 2 pole air conditioner disco was used where the equipment will be located. Is it permissible to disconnect both the hot and neutral at the switch? It is a pull out style disconnect that will disconnect both hot and neutral simultaneously.

Yes, I believe that this would be permissible.

Correct, and in some hazardous location applications it may even be required to disconnect the grounded conductor.
