but poco are poco, they are special ;)
the AHJ should not fail inspection if the pvc in ground for phys protection is red, white, or blue. by code a "fitting" needs to be on the end. in reality, a bell end or a good chamfer should suffice. by code, shove a bell on.

POCO's are "special...?" Awww, shucks....we're just always right.:D There are probably as many rules as there are POCO's as far as service entrance hardware. Ours (well, theirs, since I moved from Truckee to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) has a requirement that risers from underground must be rigid conduit on the riser if exposed, 3" minimum diameter and must use sweeps, not 90's on all underground conduit. We also don't allow heated bends. Too many instances of extremely difficult pulls....usually from people who want the "unsightly" transformer far away from their homes. Any PVC terminating in a service panel must have a fitting on the end, but a TA adapter and a bushing is fine. Alaska had depth rules also because of frost heave.
