Sub panel to sub panel.

I have a situation in industrial where a sub panel has a 150 amp main breaker 208/120.
About 150 ft away we need some convenience outlets the load would be no problem. Instead of running 150ft of pipe for a couple outlets I thought it might be best to puta small say 60 amp 208/120 panel there. I could not find anywhere in the Nec where this was prohibited. Could you please advise, I may have missed something

Nothing wrong with your idea. However, you will need to either run conductors sized for 150 A to the new panel or install OCPD rated appropriately for the new panel and conductors rated for the OCPD.

There is not much difference in the cost of a 60 A panel and a 150 A panel and 150 feet of wire and conduit sized for either 60 A or 150 A will likely cost less than the labor to install it.

I was going to add the breaker in the first panel.
I will see the final pricing so you are likely correct
