So I'm building an auto power switch for a project. I plan to run a 15amp breaker from the main panel to a Transfer switch to a sub panel that will have a 15amp emergency circuit. This is for residential not required emergency power. The transfer switch is rated for 15amps. I will have a generator hooked to the transfer switch that will supply the sub panel. The sub panel will be supplied by the main when main power is seen. When no main power is seen the transfer switch will switch to the generator which will then supply the sub panel. My question is will this be enough isolation from the main panel? Is there a back feed issue with this design? All I find in the NEC is basically no time limit for power to come on.

Any information is a great help.
