Merry Christmas to all,
I have been retired for a year and decided to stroll through an Assembly area during Rough In stage and noticed the switch outlets had Arlington Snap-Tite duplex connectors with a single 12/2 installed, the other side of the duplex connector had what appeared was a non metallic insert installed. Well my first thought was maybe a new product on the market as I never really had an issue with a single cable installed in a duplex connector ( Maybe a W.I.T. situation)
My thoughts were their intent was to use the grounded conductor as feed to switch as permissible per 200.7(C) then 404.2C) came to mind.
Thanks all sorry I have left this a bit open ended but would like to hear others thoughts.
