NFPA 13 version 2019 section 16.4.1.4.2 says electric supervision of the heat tracing system shall provide positive confirmation that the circuit is energized.
The AHJ work is performed under is in NFPA 13 version 2016. However I cannot find heat racing in NFPA 13 version 2016. Can anyone familiar with NFPA 13 version 2016 please let me know where is heat tracing section and where is the heat tracing supervision section 2016 NFPA 13?

. I am being told they can use either 2013 or 2016 but they chose 2013.
