Rigid metal and aluminum conduit supports spaceing. ( nec 2011 ) ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

is 344.30 for emt conduit also. THANK YOU
EMT and RMC have similar support requirements but they are not entirely the same. RMC allows up to 20' of vertical conduit to be unsupported under some specific conditions.

Securely fastened within 3 ft, supported every 10.

Securely fastened means it can't be pulled out of it's fitting. Supported just means held up.

For EMT, you can extend securely fastened up to 5 ft if there is no structural support within 3 ft.

For RMC, you can drop the conduit vertically for up to 20 ft if the couplings are made with threaded fittings wrench tight.
