For those of you that have used VFD cable...
I've got a 373 MCM shielded VFD cable. The egc is symmetric - (3) 6 awg conductors.
These will terminate to a ring terminal --> 3/8" stud.
Do I put them all under 1 ring terminal of an equivalent cross sectional area (6 awg ~ 26.2 MCM 8 * 3 ~78.7 MCM which is between a 1 and 2 awg) or do I put them under 3 separate ring terminals?
I'll have 3 of these cables in parallel so individual would be a total of 9 terminals landing to my termination point (3/8" stud). It's going to look like a christmas tree ornament with all that hardware stacked on it.
Any thoughts or advice?
